Dalton Schultz A Low-End TE1 In Week 5

4 years agoDallas Cowboys tight end Dalton Schultz (thigh) is expected to play in Week 5 against the New York Giants. Schultz was hurt near the end of the game in Week 4, suffering a bruised thigh, but he's reportedly been fine in practice and isn't in danger of missing Sunday's game. Schultz remains a low-end TE1 option in most formats. Before getting hurt in Week 4, he caught four passes for 72 yards and a touchdown. With the Cowboys throwing a ton every game, Schultz has developed a solid floor to go with an occasionally high ceiling. The Giants have been decent at defending opposing tight ends, but nothing about their defense says they should be a matchup to avoid.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
