4 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook (groin) missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Cook was feeling much better on Wednesday and considers himself day-to-day, but two missed practices so far this week doesn't bode well for him playing in Week 6 against the Falcons, especially since the team has their bye week coming in Week 7. As of right now, fantasy managers shouldn't expect the 25-year-old to be active this Sunday. Backup Alexander Mattison looked good in Cook's place in the second half of the Week 5 loss to the Seahawks and will be a plug-and-play RB1 against Atlanta if Cook is inactive. The Falcons have allowed the 13th-most fantasy points to opposing runners this year, including six total touchdowns allowed to the position.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
