6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard managed to connect on just three of 14 shooting and scored just 14 points in the loss to the Nuggets on Friday. Lillard added eight assists and four rebounds, as it shows when the franchise guard doesn't produce, it appears in the final score. Lillard has gone cold at the wrong time and is averaging just 18.0 points on 33.8 percent shooting in the last four games. With the Trail Blazers having just a single-game lead over the smoking-hot Jazz in the West for the fourth seed, they are going to need better production from Lillard to secure home-court advantage with the playoffs on the horizon.--Gianni Costantiello
