4 years agoKansas City Royals pitcher Danny Duffy had a rough outing against the Chicago White Sox on Thursday. Duffy pitched six innings and allowed seven hits, five walks and six earned runs while striking out three. Duffy is now 2-3 with a 4.83 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 9.44 K/9 on the year. This was only the second time in eight starts on the year that Duffy was able to go six innings. The six earned runs was a season-high. Duffy is worth owning in deep leagues for anyone who needs rotation depth and strikeout help. In more shallow leagues, he can remain on waivers. He'll look to bounce back in his next outing against the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
