3 years agoToronto Blue Jays catcher Danny Jansen (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday with a right hamstring strain, the team announced on Twitter. Jansen has been mired in the worst offensive performance of his career this season, slashing .157/.248/.278 with three home runs, eight RBI and 13 runs scored over 42 games. In a corresponding move, the Blue Jays have recalled prospect Riley Adams, who will make his major league debut behind the plate on Tuesday against the White Sox.
