David Fletcher Makes First Start In Left Field
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels infielder David Fletcher made his first career start in left field on Sunday afternoon against the Texas Rangers. His start in the outfielder actually didn't last long, as he moved to third base for the injured Zack Cozart (forearm) to start the top of the third inning while Peter Bourjos took over in left. If Fletcher is able to grab outfield eligibility, he'll have some added value in deeper AL-only fantasy leagues, but he might be needed at the hot corner if Cozart is forced to miss some time.
