3 years agoNew Jersey Devils center Dawson Mercer continued his point streak with another assist on Sunday at MSG against the New York Rangers. Mercer found a streaking Jesper Bratt during the first period. The resulting breakaway led to a goal and an early 1-0 lead for New Jersey. Mercer played more than 19 minutes on Sunday and created three scoring chances in all. The center fired two shots on goal but did miss a few attempts as maybe he squeezed the stick a little tight during his MSG debut. Mercer now has six points in his last four contests. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
