6 years agoNew York Knicks guard Dennis Smith Jr. did not take the court on Wednesday as he sat on the bench the entire game in the loss to the Pistons. It was a meaningless game for the Knicks, so they decided to take the cautious approach with their young guard. Hopefully, it did not cause owners too much frustration. The Knicks are going to be big players this offseason in free agency, so it will be interesting to see the role Smith takes on next season in the Big Apple.--Gianni Costantiello
