Devin Booker Paces Club In Points And Assists In Win
6 years agoPhoenix Suns point/shooting guard Devin Booker led the way with a team-high 25 points and eight assists during Wednesday’s win over the Boston Celtics. It was a rough 9-for-23 performance from the field, which included six turnovers, but Booker added five rebounds and two blocks to make for an all-around impressive showing against one of the league’s premier defenses. Especially of note is that De’Anthony Melton drew just 16 minutes at the starting point guard spot, with head coach Igor Kokoskov once again comfortable turning to Booker to run the show. Playing the point could bode well for him Saturday against the Washington Wizards, who are allowing the second-most fantasy points per game this season to opposing point guards.
