Dylan Bundy Takes Loss But Improves Performance Tuesday
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Dylan Bundy fell to 0-2 in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Rays. Bundy allowed three runs on three hits (including a two-run home run) and two walks with five strikeouts over five innings. It was Bundy's best start of the season so far, as it was his first start pitching at least four innings and allowing no more than three runs. While it was a step in the right direction, the 26-year-old has an ugly 7.79 ERA on the season with a whopping seven HR allowed in 17 1/3 IP. He got crushed by the long ball last season and nothing seems to have changed. Bundy is slated to face the Twins at home in his next start. Fantasy owners should not trust him until he shows that he can string together a few decent starts.
