Falcons Fire Dan Quinn; Raheem Morris The Interim Coach

4 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons fired head coach Dan Quinn on Sunday night. Quinn becomes the second head coach in a week to be fired, with the Texans axing head coach Bill O'Brien last week. Raheem Morris will take over as the interim head coach for the 0-5 team after Quinn's dismissal. Morris was the head coach of the Buccaneers for three years from 2009 to 2011 and had a combined 17-31 record. He joined Atlanta in 2015 as their defensive backs coach after three years in Washington and was moved to wide receivers coach in 2016. The Falcons moved him back to the defensive side of the ball late last season, and he took over as the full-time defensive coordinator this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
