7 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons reached a deal with first-round wide receiver Calvin Ridley on Wednesday, according to a tweet by SportsTrust Advisors. It's believed to be a standard four-year rookie deal with a fifth-year option for Ridley, who was the No. 26 overall pick in the first round. He was viewed by many to be the best receiver in the draft and one of the most NFL-ready. Ridley caught 224 passes for 2,781 yards and 19 touchdowns in three seasons at the University of Alabama. He could wind up being the No. 2 receiver in Atlanta behind Julio Jones in his rookie year, and he'll be a popular fantasy selection in all fantasy leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
