Frederik Andersen Drops Decision Late On Wednesday
3 years agoCarolina Hurricanes goaltender Frederik Andersen probably thought the game in Seattle was heading into overtime. Then unexpectedly, Marcus Johansson fired a wrist shot that eluded the goaltender. Seattle then held on to win 2-1, dropping Andersen's record to 11-3 on the season. He still carries a stellar 1.89 goals-against average and a .936 save percentage. The Hurricanes overall remain one of the best teams in the league with 14 wins on the young season already. Andersen will try to bounce back at Philadelphia on Friday against a struggling Flyers team.
