5 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith returned to practice on Friday following a surgical procedure performed last week on his knee. Smith had a cyst removed from his knee, but the minor procedure was only expected to sideline him for a couple of weeks at the most. However, with Smith competing with Paxton Lynch for the backup job, he pushed and was able to get back into practice on Friday. Head coach Pete Carroll said it was unclear whether Smith will be able to play in Sunday's game, but he did praise Smith's toughness to returning so quickly.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
