5 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith was the only QB to appear in Saturday's game besides Russell Wilson, and he took full advantage of the opportunity. Smith went 11-for-17 through the air for 117 yards, only got sacked once, and hustled in a touchdown on the ground. Smith showed poise in the pocket and regularly threw strong passes from awkward positions and while running. He looked like a solid backup quarterback who easily moved the ball up and down the field against LA's second- and third-string defense. With Paxton Lynch still in concussion protocol, this was a golden opportunity for Smith to show what he could do, and he took full advantage.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
