6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer will look to stay hot at the plate when the team opens up a series with the Tigers on Monday. Springer is 13-for-31 (.419) over his last seven games and is hitting .362 over his last 58 at-bats. After going through a lengthy slump in which he hit .190 in July, Springer has looked more like himself at the plate recently. The next aspect to be added to his game is that immense power he has featured in the past from the leadoff spot. He has only two home runs over his last 76 at-bats but can go on a hot streak faster than any player in the game. Springer should be active in all formats for Monday's action.--Joey C - RotoBaller
