7 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Gerrit Cole will return from the bereavement list on Saturday and will start against the Tigers. To make room for him on the roster, outfielder Jake Marisnick was optioned to Triple-A Fresno on Friday. Marisnick made just one start and went 1-for-3 on Tuesday. He can obviously be ignored in fantasy leagues. Cole returns to a sparkling 9-2 record, 2.57 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and career-high 12.4 K/9. He's had a nice bounce-back year with his new team and returns to a juicy matchup against the Tigers. Make sure to get Cole back into your lineups.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
