7 years agoNew York Yankees infield prospect Gleyber Torres (hip) will begin his rehab assignment on Saturday, according to manager Aaron Boone. The team is expecting Torres to return for the last game of their series with the Rays next Wednesday. Torres should return to his role as the everyday second baseman next week after hitting .294 with 15 home runs, 42 RBI and 30 runs in 218 at-bats.
