Grant Delpit Undergoing Tests For Achilles' Injury

4 years agoCleveland Browns safety Grant Delpit (Achilles') is undergoing tests on an Achilles' injury and will undergo an MRI Monday night. Delpit was carted off the field at practice on Monday, and the Browns are concerned that the rookie suffered a serious Achilles' injury that will cause him to miss considerable time. If the 21-year-old suffered a torn Achilles', he'll miss all of his rookie season in 2020. Delpit, who was drafted out of LSU, fits best at strong safety in the NFL with the ability to play near the line of scrimmage and stop the opponent's running game. Andrew Sendejo will need to step up in the Browns secondary if they lose Delpit for the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
