3 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ will be on the bench for his third straight contest on Thursday versus the Los Angeles Dodgers. Happ has been a major disappointment for both the Cubs and managers this season and is hitting .182 with eight home runs and 18 RBI this season. The Cubs have dealt with a flurry of injuries, but Happ is still having trouble getting his turn in the lineup. Managers can safely replace Happ with another option on the waiver wire. With Happ being benched, outfielder Jake Marisnick and infielder Sergio Alcantara have seen an increase in playing time.
