4 years agoIan Poulter heads to Winged Foot Golf Club this week with 14 career U.S. Open starts on his resume. Poulter's best career finish in a U.S. Open, a T12, came on this Winged Foot layout in 2006, and he seems like the type of cagey veteran that might be able to navigate this treacherous track decently this week. Unfortunately, the Englishman's recent form isn't exactly inspiring. He's lost strokes off the tee in six of his eight post-layoff starts and has surprisingly lost strokes around the green in each of his last four outings. Despite his underwhelming recent form, Poulter's major championship experience makes him a viable discount DFS option.--Joe Nicely - RotoBaller
