3 years agoNew York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin stopped 31 of 34 shots in the 5-3 New York win on Saturday. The Russian was able to keep his team in front but during the third period, Shesterkin took a shot to the head. He was taken out of the game at that point and did not return. Alexandar Georgiev would play the final 6:45 and made two saves to finish the game off. Again, it appeared Shesterkin was not all that injured. One would not expect him to play versus New Jersey on Sunday evening. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
