3 years agoNew York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin played well on Thursday, making 28 saves on 30 shots in Toronto. That was not enough, though, as the Maple Leafs defeated the Rangers 2-1. He allowed two goals to Morgan Rielly, including one on the power play, but gave his team a chance to win. This marked a fourth consecutive quality start for the Russian goaltender after allowing six goals to the Calgary Flames almost two weeks ago.
