7 years agoCleveland Cavaliers shooting guard J.R. Smith played a key role in Monday's 123-109 win over the Knicks, as he sparked a run at the start of the second quarter, which turned a close game into a routine performance for the Cavs. Smith started the second by nailing two treys in less than a minute and he went on to score nine of his 14 points in the quarter. He did very well from deep, shooting 4-for-8, and he also picked up seven rebounds, four assists and a pair of steals. Smith's outbursts have become rare these days, but he showed that if he gets the ball, then he can still shoot.
