J.R. Smith Plays Well In Win Over Knicks
7 years agoCleveland Cavaliers shooting guard J.R. Smith played a key role in Monday's 123-109 win over the Knicks, as he sparked a run at the start of the second quarter, which turned a close game into a routine performance for the Cavs. Smith started the second by nailing two treys in less than a minute and he went on to score nine of his 14 points in the quarter. He did very well from deep, shooting 4-for-8, and he also picked up seven rebounds, four assists and a pair of steals. Smith's outbursts have become rare these days, but he showed that if he gets the ball, then he can still shoot. He'll be looking to do damage against the Knicks again on Wednesday.
