7 years agoArizona Diamondbacks third baseman Jake Lamb (shoulder) has been placed on the 10-day disabled list. Lamb was forced to leave Thursday's game with a left shoulder contusion. The D-Backs were calling the injury day-to-day, but it appears to be a little more serious than that. Infielder Ildemaro Vargas has been recalled to take Lamb's spot on the active roster. The acquisition of Eduardo Escobar should ease the loss of Lamb for the moment.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
