6 years agoDenver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray made many big shots in the fourth quarter and in the four overtime periods on Friday en route to 34 points in the 140-137 loss to the Trail Blazers in Game 3. Murray hobbled his way to making 14 of 32 shots and added nine rebounds with five assists and a steal in this marathon of a game. Murray was in obvious pain at points in this game and because of this, the Trail Blazers regularly went at the young guard. He and the Nuggets only get Saturday off to recover before Game 4, so he may be someone to avoid for Sunday's game because of his injuries.--Gianni Costantiello
