3 years agoSan Jose Sharks goaltender James Reimer did not face a ton of shots from the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday night. However, he turned aside all but one of them in the overtime win. Reimer's tenth appearance of the season saw him net his fifth win on just three losses and an overtime defeat. This game was in stark contrast to last Thursday night against St. Louis where Reimer was blasted with 48 shots. The San Jose defense played more measured in front of him and the goaltender was able to lower his 1.99 goals-against average further.
