Javier Baez Goes Yard Twice In Loss
3 years agoChicago Cubs shortstop Javier Baez stayed hot in Tuesday's loss versus the Philadelphia Phillies. Baez went 2-for-4 on the evening with four RBI to go along with a solo home run and two-run home run. Baez has now homered in consecutive games and has 21 home runs for the season. The upcoming free agent also has 56 RBI and 10 stolen bases to go along with a .234 batting average. The Cubs have lost 11 games in a row and Baez could be a trade candidate if the team continues to slide down the standings. Regardless of the uniform, Baez should continue to produce both power and speed for managers. Baez will look to go yard for his third straight game on Wednesday versus Zack Wheeler.
