6 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop Jean Segura went 0-for-4 in the Mariners 2-1 win on Sunday. Segura returned to the lineup on September 1 from a leg injury and has gone 4-for-12 (.333) over the past three games. Segura is perhaps the most important hitter in the Mariners lineup and now has multiple hits in 9 of his last 12 games played. He is hitting .317 since August 1 and has an outside shot at 200 hits this season. The All-Star for the season is currently slashing .218/.349/.437 with three triples, nine home runs, 28 doubles, 60 RBI and 82 runs scored through 513 at-bats.--Joey C - RotoBaller
