Jeremy Hellickson To Make Rehab Start This Weekend
7 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Jeremy Hellickson (hamstring) is expected to make a rehab start in the minors this weekend and go five or six innings, according to manager Dave Martinez. Barring a setback, Hellickson could return to the rotation late next week. The veteran right-hander was 2-0 with a nice 2.28 ERA and 0.92 WHIP in nine starts before his injury, but a mediocre strikeout rate (7.1 K/9) mainly makes him a streaming candidate in good matchups.
