5 years agoTennessee Titans running back Jeremy McNichols ran well in the absence of Derrick Henry and David Fluellen in the Week 1 preseason matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles. McNichols appears to be the clear fourth option in the Titans backfield behind Henry, Fluellen, and Dion Lewis, but his spot on the roster is still very much in question. He did nothing but help his case Thursday, rushing for 44 yards on just eight carries. Barring a major injury to either Derrick Henry or Dion Lewis this season, it is unlikely that McNichols will be able to earn any sort of role on the offense despite his improved play.--Sam
