7 years agoMinnesota Twins first baseman Joe Mauer (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Detroit Tigers. It appears that Mauer is just getting a routine day off for this contest. Ehire Adrianza will bat eighth and play first base versus lefty Matt Boyd. Adrianza is hitting .364/.462/.545 off Boyd in his career. However, he does not have much upside with the bat, so DFS owners can avoid him for this contest.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
