6 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Joey Lucchesi collected his third victory Sunday against the Cincinnati Reds. Lucchesi fanned eight in 5 2/3 innings and lost his chance at a quality start when he was yanked after giving up a pair of two-out baserunners in the sixth inning. He yielded five hits and two walks on the afternoon. After two bumpy starts, Lucchesi’s effective outing brings his ERA to 4.33 with a 1.30 WHIP and 9.7 K/9.
