4 years agoTampa Bay Rays shortstop Joey Wendle went 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBI on Friday night in a 6-4 Rays victory. With the Rays trailing 4-2 in the top of the ninth with one out, Wendle launched a go-ahead, game-winning three-run home run off Miami pitcher Anthony Bass. Wendle has never been much of a power hitter in his career, with a career-high of seven home runs in 2018. His biggest value in fantasy is his positional flexibility, as he is an ideal bench guy for managers to plug in and play when a replacement is needed.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
