John Means Gets Roughed Up Saturday
5 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher John Means stumbled in his start to the second half in Saturday's Game Two 12-4 loss to the Rays. Means allowed six runs on eight hits (including three home runs) and no walks with four strikeouts over six innings pitched. The 26-year-old All-Star was a huge fantasy asset in the first half and still carries an ERA under 3.00 after today's start. Fantasy owners should not be concerned, as all pitchers will occasionally have an off start. Means will look to rebound in his next start against a tough Red Sox matchup at home.
