5 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher John Means rebounded after a rough start in Friday's 11-2 win over the Red Sox. Means pitched six innings, allowing two runs on four hits (including a two-run home run) and two walks and one strikeout to earn his eighth win of the season. The 26-year-old has been a huge fantasy value and now owns a 2.95 ERA with 74 strikeouts and 24 walks in 94 2/3 IP. He will face a decent matchup in his next start at the Diamondbacks.
