3 years agoNew Jersey Devils goaltender Jonathan Bernier came in to relieve Mackenzie Blackwood on Thursday night. He stopped 14 shots as New Jersey went on to lose 4-1 in Florida. It is just par for the course as Lindy Ruff allowed Mackenzie Blackwood to get a little more rest in preparation for Saturday's game in Tampa Bay. Florida just kept peppering Bernier much like they did with Blackwood. There were quite a few high-danger scoring chances that the goaltender stopped on Thursday night. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
