5 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jordan Lyles gave up one run on three hits and two walks through five innings in a win over the Athletics in his Milwaukee debut. It wasn't quite a quality start, but good enough for the win and potentially good enough for fantasy owners to consider picking Lyles up, but I would advise not to. In the last 10 starts for Lyles, he has given up six or more runs in four of them and completed six innings only twice. After his start on May 23rd, Lyles was 5-1 with a 2.81 ERA and now he sits at 6-7 with a 5.15 ERA. That's not to say that a change of scenery and playing for a better offense couldn't help him turn his season around, but you should give him a few more starts to see if that's the case.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
