4 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Jorge Lopez had a solid start in Monday's 14-1 rout of the Braves. Lopez did a great job navigating a tough Braves lineup, allowing a single run on five hits (including a solo home run) and two walks with three strikeouts over seven innings pitched. The 27-year-old now has a 5.23 ERA with 22 strikeouts and 10 walks over 31 innings this season. He will next face another tough matchup against the Rays. While he did pitch well on Monday, fantasy players should not rely on Lopez to replicate his success in his next start.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
