6 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve is slashing .324/.390/.486 since returning to the lineup on August 21 from a knee injury. There appears to be no lingering effects in the knee for the reigning MVP and has hits in seven of his last nine games. Altuve and Co. will face Angels right-hander Jaime Barria on Friday and Altuve is hitting .343 against righties through 315 at-bats. The 5'6" slugger is back to his elite self just in time for the fantasy playoffs and should be active in all formats.--Joey C - RotoBaller
