Kareem Hunt Not Expected To Practice Thursday
3 years agoCleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt (ankle, illness) is not expected to practice Thursday. He was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday but has yet to practice this week. Defensive back Troy Hill, John Johnson, and defensive tackle Malik Jackson are also expected to miss Thursday's session. Hunt hasn't played since Week 14 and will need to practice in some fashion if he plans to play in Monday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 26-year-old has rushed for 386 yards and five touchdowns while catching 22 passes for 174 yards over eight games in 2021. D'Ernest Johnson would serve as Nick Chubb's backup and provide a change-of-pace option if Hunt cannot suit up for Monday Night Football. Stay tuned.
