Keegan Akin Posts Second Consecutive Solid Start Saturday
4 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Keegan Akin turned in another good start in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Yankees. Akin pitched 5 1/3 innings, allowing no runs on three hits and four walks with eight strikeouts. The 25-year-old rookie has now found himself in the O's starting rotation after a series of trade deadline moves and has pitched well. He now has a 2.08 ERA with 15 strikeouts and seven walks over 13 IP this season. His next matchup will be a rematch with the Yankees on the road. Despite pitching well tonight, fantasy players should not trust Akin to duplicate his performance until they see more from him.
