Kenny Golladay, Sterling Shepard Questionable For Week 14
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receivers Sterling Shepard (quadriceps) and Kenny Golladay (ribs) are listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Shepard has been sidelined since Week 8 with a quad injury but is expected to play after practicing this week. The 28-year-old owns 24% of the team's target shares and has been productive when playing. He has caught 32 passes for 324 yards and a touchdown over five games in 2021. Shepard will serve as the Giants' top slot receiver with rookie Kadarius Toney (oblique) ruled out. Golladay is on track to play after practicing both Thursday and Friday. This season, the 28-year-old has been a massive disappointment, catching 26 passes for 409 yards over nine games in 2021. Giants QB Mike Glennon cleared concussion protocol and is expected to start against the Chargers, a downgrade to New York's offensive skilled position players. Shepard and Golladay are considered flex plays in deep-league formats if both wideouts suit up for Week 14.
