Keston Hiura Not In The Lineup On Tuesday

4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers second baseman Keston Hiura is not in the lineup Tuesday as the team faces Sonny Gray and the Cincinnati Reds. Hiura has been struggling in September, slashing .188/.312/.453 across the month. He has 10 strikeouts over his past four games, so it's a good time for him to have a day off. Jace Peterson is getting the start at second base in the game and is leading off as well. Amidst Hiura's struggles, he was moved lower in the lineup. He was primarily part of the top-third of the team's order most of the season, but over the past 10 days, he's mostly slotted in around fourth or fifth in the lineup, which is good for his RBI potential, but will limit his overall plate appearances.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
