6 years agoOakland Athletics designated hitter Khris Davis belted a solo home run, his second in three regular-season games, in Thursday's 4-0 victory against the division-rival Los Angeles Angels. It was a microcosm of his past few seasons, as he has hit for a ton of power while hitting exactly .247 in four consecutive campaigns. He smacked four homers with 12 RBI across 66 at-bats against the Angels last season. He'll strike out a ton for fantasy owners, but man that power is so very nice to have on a roster. Davis will try to keep it cooking against Matt Harvey and the Angels on Friday.--Daniel Dobish
