6 years agoGolden State Warriors shooting guard/small forward Klay Thompson nailed five of his 13 shots to score 13 points in Game 1 versus the Rockets. Thompson did not seem to be bothered by his ankle issue as he added four rebounds with three assists and two steals with a plus-3 in 41 minutes of action. The Warriors relied heavily on their starters with three of the five players logging 40-plus minutes. Thompson has seen his scoring drop to 16.7 points a night this postseason but is still shooting a respectable 45.5% from the floor. The Warriors will need more out of Thompson if they want to close out the hungry Rockets.--Gianni Costantiello
