Klay Thompson Scores 22 Points On 20 Shots
6 years agoGolden State Warriors shooting guard/small forward Klay Thompson's 22 points were not enough in the Game 5 loss to the Clippers on Wednesday. Thompson rattled in nine of his 20 shot attempts and added three rebounds with a couple of assists and was a minus-13 in his 37 minutes of action. Thompson is averaging just 19.0 points a game in the five games thus far this series and it has nothing to do with inefficiencies, as he is shooting a respectable 48.7 percent from the floor. Thompson has yet to really go off in this series, and the Warriors may hope he erupts in Game 6 to close out the series.
