6 years agoGolden State Warriors shooting guard/small forward Klay Thompson scored 13 of his 24 points in the monster third quarter for his club in the 114-111 win over the Trail Blazers on Thursday. Thompson connected on 8-for-22 shooting overall and added three rebounds with two assists across 41 minutes of action. The Warriors outscored the Blazers 39-24 in the third quarter with Stephen Curry and Thompson both getting hot in that frame. Thompson is actually struggling from the floor in the series' first two games where he is shooting just 39.1%, but with Kevin Durant (calf) to miss at least three more games, Thompson is still worth a look for Game 3.--Gianni Costantiello
