4 years agoThe Washington Football Team is making a change under center heading into Week 5 against the Rams. Quarterback Kyle Allen will get the start, while Dwayne Haskins Jr. will head to the bench. Not only has Haskins been demoted, but he'll be the third-string QB behind Alex Smith. The former first-rounder has completed 89 of 149 passing attempts for 939 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions through four games, averaging a paltry 6.4 yards per attempt. Allen, 24, made some starts for head coach Ron Rivera in Carolina when Cam Newton was hurt, but he might not be that big of an upgrade over Haskins in an offense with few playmakers outside of Terry McLaurin and Logan Thomas. Allen will be a low-end QB2 streamer in superflex leagues, while the Rams Defense remains a very attractive fantasy unit this weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
