4 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Kyle Lewis went 1-for-6 with an RBI, two runs and two walks through two games in Thursday's doubleheader against the Padres. Lewis did end his hitting streak in the late game of the doubleheader, but he also walked twice in that game which has been a huge improvement for him this season. Lewis' walk rate has improved to 14.5% compared to his 4% in 2019. While Lewis had also drastically reduced his strikeout rate as of late, he has struck out six times in the last three games. Expect Lewis' numbers to come back down to earth a little bit, but while he is producing so much and the season is so short, he remains a high-end outfielder, especially in leagues that don't penalize strikeouts.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
